"Today, I'd like to highlight a key term I learned in class: "Parent Company".
What is a Parent Company?
A parent company controls a subsidiary company, with dominating in ownership and influencing its evolution.
Reasons for a parent company are:
Diversification
Capital access
Tax benefits
Expansion through acquisitions
Here is an Example:
Alphabet Inc is the parent company the subsidiaries are:
Google, Nest, Access & Energy, Verily, Calico, SIDE-WALK-LABS, Google X among others.

Now that you understand what ‘Parent Company’ means, you’ll have a clearer understanding when reading business newsletters like Bloomberg. As I’ve mentioned, this is a journey of growing together and improving together.
This week, that was the most significant thing I learned, and I believe it’s useful for all of you to know.
Quote of the week 🤌🏻
This Week’s inspiration comes from Johann Wolfgang von Goethe:
“Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Willing is not enough; we must do”
It’s thought I was thinking about lately!! A close friend once said:
“Imperfect action is better than Perfect inaction. do what your 🧠 tells you to do follow your gut and just take the leap. Trust me, YOU WON´T REGRET IT!”
Charge into the week with momentum—Monday's here, and every opportunity awaits. Let's make it count! 💪🏻
